The service

Lex is an AI cofounder for early-stage founders: plan analysis, hypothesis tracking, interview prep and debriefs, and a cold-outreach tool. It is in beta — features may change, and AI output can be wrong. Lex gives startup guidance, not legal, financial, or professional advice. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Lex Pro ($15 CAD/month)

• Pro adds one fresh outreach campaign (up to 25 leads) per day, the AI capacity to work them, and future Pro features as they ship. Free accounts keep everything else.
• Billing is monthly through Stripe, in Canadian dollars, and renews automatically.
• Cancel anytime from your account (header → your email → Subscription) or by emailing us — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and you keep Pro until then.
• If something was broken during your first week of Pro, email us and we'll refund that month. Beyond that, no partial-month refunds.
• Prices may change; existing subscribers get 30 days' notice before any change affects them.

Acceptable use of Outreach

The Outreach tool exists for lawful, personalized business outreach: you must review and approve every email, you may not upload purchased or scraped lists, and unsubscribe requests are honored permanently and automatically. You are the sender of your emails and responsible for the anti-spam laws that apply to you (CASL, CAN-SPAM). Accounts using Outreach for spam, harassment, deception, or illegal content will be closed without refund.

Your content

Your plan, board, transcripts, and campaigns are yours. You give Lex permission to process them to provide the service (including via the AI providers listed in the privacy policy) — nothing more. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time from the app.

Liability

Lex is provided as-is, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kolkar Technologies Inc.'s total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be noted here with a new date, and significant ones flagged in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
